Two days ago, the detailed scheduled as been published on the GALAXIE portal, as announced through the SF2A mailing list. The Astronomer and Adjoint-Astronomer candidates have slightly different requirements:

How?

For both concours:

  • 📍It is required to show up at least 20 min before your time slot, with your ID card and a copy of the schedule which serves as a convocation.
  • ⏰ You have a 15 min talk followed by 15 min of questions.
  • 📤 You are required to upload your presentation of less than 50 Mb (larger than the CNRS requirements by more than an order of magnitude lol) in advance:
  • 📩 Once your presentation has been uploaded, send a confirmation email to concours.cnap@obspm.fr in order to receive a confirmation of the reception of your slides.

All this information can be found again on the CNAP website: https://cnap.obspm.fr/
Waiting for your turn to come can easily make you anxious, however, remember that you already did a lot and you can be proud to be here! Good luck to all the candidates 🙂
