We’re just throwing out a very short blog post today to inform you that the CNRS sections have published their lists of candidates who have successfully passed the equivalence jury. If you remember from our recent blog post, the first step in the selection process is making sure that the candidates fulfil the format application requirements. This has now been done, and if you applied and all your documentation was in order, you will find your name on the list of candidates who are allowed to pursue the 2025 CNRS concours.

You can find this list through the official CNRS concours website, which links the full document listed per section:

It looks like 189 candidates threw their hat into the ring this year for the five open positions for CRCN, and 33 for the poste fléché, with some overlap.

The national research union SNCS-FSU also keeps publishing the results, although they just keep it to the total numbers for now and apparently will start listing names only from the audition selection stage onwards:

There’s really not much for you to do as a reaction to this, we just wanted to make sure you’re up to date with what’s happening. The JAD (Jury d’admissibilité sur dossier) of the astronomy section is meeting this upcoming week to decide who will get invited for auditions - fingers crossed!
